Safety training has moved to Creighton's Bridge platform: https://learning.creighton.edu/learner/courses 

Lab Safety for New Employees [everyone must do once]

Lab Safety Training for New Employees and Students has now been moved to Bridge; it is a self-enrolling course. You must complete this training before starting research.

Lab Safety Refresher  [everyone must do annually]

Lab safety refresher training for the school year is available here. This training is for individuals who have already completed Lab Safety for New Personnel. If you are new to Creighton, please complete the modules for New Lab Personnel.

Lab Safety Training for Specific Areas

There are several lab training modules available, depending on what kind of work you are doing in the lab:

• Lab Safety for Visitors (CU181) is for the occasional visitor to labs -- computer technicians, administrative personnel, delivery people, and the like.  (10 minutes)

• Lab safety training for students working with radiation.

Students doing spectroscopy with lasers will need to complete Laser Safety Training (CU506). The training consists of watching a video and taking the associated quiz. A passing score on the laser safety training is 80%. [users must do every 3 years]
